Rectangle Trampolines | Rectangle Trampolines with Enclosure

Are You Ready to Jump?

Many of us grew up with a rectangle trampoline, spending hours in the backyard every week, just jumping around and burning off some extra energy. Today’s rectangle trampolines in Australia are based on those very same ones we jumped on as kids.

Kids today love trampolines just as much as their parents did while growing up. If you’ve got active kids who need an outlet to get rid of their energy or looking for a fun accessory for the backyard, a cheap rectangle trampoline is a great place to start.

What’s the Difference Between Round and Rectangle Trampolines?

Apart from the obvious shape difference, a rectangle trampoline tends to offer more jumping room. Rectangle trampolines can also often hold much more weight because of their bigger size. But is there a difference when jumping?

A rectangle trampoline offers a higher level of bounce and is perfect for those kids who do gymnastics, aerobatics or who want to learn to do tricks. The shape offers more length which not only gives more jumping room but more landing room as well.

If your children are just getting started, the room you have in your backyard will really dictate the size of the trampoline you can purchase (you should leave at least 3ft. of spare room on all sides), however a 10ft. x 17ft. or a 9ft. x 14ft. are good options. For younger children, there is always the 5ft. x 7ft. toddler trampoline that is well-loved.

Different Shapes Different Jumps

We hear you - surely a different shaped trampoline cannot produce different jumps. Well, you might just be surprised.

There’s a reason that professional gymnasts and gyms use rectangular trampolines - the springs work at different rates which gives a quicker response. This means the jumper will get a more powerful life. Because of this, there should only be one jumper at a time on a rectangle trampoline in Australia.

These trampolines are perfect for kids who want lots of height, and for those who want to jump, but don’t want to work overly hard to do so. We do recommend when buying a rectangle trampoline in Australia, that you ensure it comes with the right padding.

Serious fun has done safely

What is the safest trampoline available? When it comes to safety considerations, there is a lot to think about when finding a rectangle trampoline for sale.

How much room do you have? Is there enough room to leave a decent gap around all sides of the trampoline? Will your children be able to access the trampoline safely?

JumpStar Trampolines have a range of sizes when it comes to rectangle trampolines, so you can find the right one for your backyard and your use. Not sure what will fit? Give us a call - our friendly team will help you out.

It is good to note that the durability of your trampoline does not depend on its shape. It is the materials and overall design that provide durability. The ideal frame for your cheap rectangle trampoline is galvanised steel, with solid single unit T-sockets rather than welded ones to connect the frames and the legs.

At JumpStar Trampolines, you have the option of a trampoline with and without an enclosure. For kids just using a trampoline for fun, we recommend buying one with an enclosure as it offers more safety to the jumper.

Good ol’ clean fun

Making sure you keep your trampoline clean means it will last longer. Our trampolines are super easy to clean - you can even get the kids involved.

Simply grab a broom and sweep away any leaves, dust and debris. Give the mat a good soak with the hose, and give a gentle scrub with warm soapy water with a soft brush. Rinse the mat and leave it to dry. Follow the same method with the springs, and the pads, ensuring you give them plenty of time to dry.

A regular sweep and clean and your trampoline will be the place for fun for a long time.
